Yesterday I could not get a key fob to pair with my ST. I did some research and found some threads about disconnecting the battery. Did that and got my new fob to pair....that was the expected result.
Now the has this happened to anyone else part:
My back window stopped working months ago. Search all the threads followed all of the suggestions about resetting the rear window and nothing worked, it was dead.
After disconnecting the battery and reconnecting it a few minutes later and getting my fob programmed I started working on the radio presets, hit the button on my back window by accident and it worked to my surprise.
Why would disconnecting the battery have anything to do with the rear window resetting too?
