Rear Window Gen 2

Saw a Gen 2 ST today on the way to work. It looked like it didn't have a rear sliding window?

Is there such a ST without a rear window. It looked nice, though a dark red color.

The first round of '07 (first year of the Gen 2) that came out didn't offer a sliding rear window.



The word from Ford was that they were having some "safety issues" with them. They got introduced in later (late) '07 shipments as an option, if memory serves.

I thought I would miss the sliding rear window in my 07, but don't at all

I don't miss the sliding rear window in mine either. I kind of like the uncluttered look of a plain rear window also.



Our tracs also don't have the Ipod connection in the console either.

true on the ipod connection but I have the sirius module (free right now anyway) which i have enjoyed alot

I miss the back window immensely.



I am guessing it would be cost prohibitive to actually put one in.

The power rear slider was a big plus when I chose the ST. It is standard on the 08 and I thought it was standard in all ST's. (powered or non powered) I thought the power slider was an option in earlier models. You guys are always a wealth of knowledge!

Andy I also love my rear glass:wub: and roof

I notice the F-150 has a power horizontal sliding window and the Tudra has large power

rear window now. It looks weird in the down position to me.

I like the rear slider on my '04. Fastest way to dump this texas heat.
