Was rear disk brakes an option on the ST? Just curious as my mechanic buddy said it was weird to see that my Trac had rear drums. I know some have converted to rear disk. did you have to do anything for the ABS sensors?

the rear ABS sensor is only 1 sensor located on the rear diff. There is nothing needed for the conversion if switching to rear disc, or even switching the whole rear end..

The only member here who has converted a pre-2003 ST to rear disks was Caymen. (Tom Schindler) He purchased an Explorer conversion kit and it was pretty straight forward.
I'm pretty sure that Caymen wrote up a project on the conversion and I'm sure he would be glad to answer any questions you may have.
