just got back from yet another exhaust shop great quote but bad news. So here is my issue. I want true duals on the sta seems simple enough but many shops told me not possible some said yes but want 1000 to run just the pipe + parts. this shop put it on the lift today quoted me 350 with a catch. the catch is either i need to put on a new high flow shorter than stock so they can run 2.5 inch over the cross member on the passenger side and over then back. Or basically turn it into a track car and remove the cats period. I really need help here as i really really want true duals out back.

Bob C had it done using stock cats.... It can be done, Need to find a shop than can do it right..

If your state requires cats. I would get the metalic substrates bullittits from magnaflo.

Does Ohio have an emissions inspection requirement? If so and if you're planning to DD this car you'd best be careful. Foul up the OBD system and you'll be left with a money pit that can't be legally put on the road.

Ohio isn't a emission state but at the same time I don't want to stare at a CEL. If I put the high flow cats on is there a certain distance the 1&2 sensors have to be apart? If I can get a short enough distance from end of manifold to end of car I can run the pipe over top of the cross member. Or fit the 2.5 inch in the original location. Also yes I know on stock I will lose some bottom end but this truck is going to be built so I'm not dealing with exhaust twice. So the set up I'm going to use is 2.5 inch a narrow magnaflow x 2 jones flow packs for now may switch to borla xr1s depending on how they sound. And don't kill me for this one but I was able to pick up brand new 2016 z06 axle backs of Craig's list for 30 bucks to snatch the quad tips off of.

If youi plan to use a huffer. I think this will hold up better. The one you list ceramic only.

Take a look at the reads ons summit raccing.

Yeah, I did it. Mineke muffler south of me did the work. Took most of the day, but the results were worth it. I did use Magnaflow cats, a dual in/out 22" muffler and dual exhaust tips. All tubing and inlet/outlets were 2.5". Hardest part was getting the computer to recognize the cats and stop the warnings on the dash. Also the cats were Cali compliant in order to get it to work.(had to try 2 or 3 different ones). But worth it, sounded awesome, looked pretty cool too![Broken External Image]:[Broken External Image]:[Broken External Image]:[Broken External Image]:

looks good bob. what was the issue with the other cats? The mufflers i bought are the same size as borla xr1s couldnt afford those yet so i got jones flow packs. the shop said they could do it but the cats had to be changed.

Ohio counties with larger metro areas do have E-Check. That includes Cuyahoga (Cleveland), Summit (Akron) and whatever county Columbus is in. Maybe a few others.

Cuyahoga; Geauga; Lake; Lorain; Medina; Portage; and Summit counties all have e-check they are also the at the top of the state. I'm in greene county whichbis basically right in the middle of cbus and cinci. about 15 yrs ago we had echeck here but it left a long time ago.
