radio station and clock light..

does anyone know how to fix the radio station number light/clock light..

my radio works fine in my 01 but I can't see the station or the clock anymore.

please help..

also interested in a good used radio as well if you have one..

Can you describe how this happened? Did it fade over time, or just didn't work one day?



Could be that the display fried, or there could be a bad ground.



Have you checked fuses, played with the dash light dimmer (mine gets dusty inside and needs a good cycling to work)? With the key out, try pressing the CLK (clock) button (the time should display).

At that age of a Trac, I'd suggest replacing the unit with something more modern if you are going to keep the vehicle. Lots of choices out there and the sound much better than OEM. I'm really glad I replaced my OEM with a Kenwood with touch screen and GPS system. It adds a new flare to the dash and the sound is hugely better than before. If you are concerned with cost, there are lots of OEM units (used) for sale on eBay.
