Radio Problem

I got in my 01 ST this morning and when I went to put on the radio I noticed that the time and channel were fading in and out . In about 3 minutes the dispaly blank. No time or channel display anymore. Radio works fine but no display. Any ideas out there besides having to change out the stock radio/CD Player ? :wacko:

mine was fading in and out too! except mine came back and hasn't done it for a couple month. i didn't do anything so sorry i can't help with a fix. check the fuses though

try tapping the screen with your finger, It may be a loose connection... Or a bad bulb..

I thought I read somewhere that Ford radios have been known to do this...something about the line for the dome dimmer not being read right by the radio.....maybe..
