I took my truck to the track tonight, highly disappointed i understand its mainly stock i have cold air intake, flowmaster, and my sct tuner ran 5 times first two runs i had the 87 perf and ran a 16.54 on second 16.45 then changed to the 93 octane next run 16.066 then a 16.124 and final run 16.237 couldn't even break into the 15 but really i thought i would be in the 14's atlest.

A lotta iron/metal to move from a dead stop! Low 16's not too badwithout putting major $$$ into the truck. . If you want fast, get a MUSTANG...IMO!

very high 15's if you are lucky. not built for 1/4 accell unless it is in snow.

at least you took it to see what it would run, not speculation.

imo, it is still fun as everyone brings all type of vehicles. :driving:

That is about average for our 5000lb tracs. When you switched to the 93 tune. Where you running 93 octane fuel? If not that was dangerous for the motor, pre-detonation from too much advance for 87.

The ST IS a BRICK on 4 wheels.........

Want to go fast, Get a Mustang or vette........

Want to just have fun and mod your ST then have at it !!!!!

My ST went 15.89 before the tuner so I think it will go 15.50 now but have not got it back to the track...
