power steering pump

does anyone have instructions on replacing the power steering pump on a 01 job-2? I know the stock pump is weak and needs to be replaced with one for an Explorer. But which one?

also, I have a leak on the left valve cover is there a project on how to replace the seal?

The link below should answer your questions. Apparently the pump from the same year Explorer will take care of the issue, or the 2003-2005 Sport Trac pump. I'm not 100% sure about the 2003-2005 pump, though.

There are also plenty of YouTube videos to help you. Search there. I think you need to remove the pulley somewhere along the way, then reinstall it on the replacement pump. Recommend you drain all the fluid from the steering rack so everything's fresh when you reassemble.
