Well this is driving me nuts, i have been trying to find a place to run a power wire throught the firewall and have had no luck. The wire will need to be strong enough to run 4 130w 12v off road lights. I am starting to think about using one of the wires that goes to the factory amp or another one that is behind the rear seat, if anyone knows where i can find a wire that will carry that much current without problems please let me know.

The firewall has a perfect spot right next to the brake booster...... Run the wire through there.

Or,,, run smaller gauge wire out to a relay. Less load over all and you'll not be running the power side from the fuse box.

I ran 4 guage power wire through one of the exsisting rubber grommets in the firewall with no problem.



Just get in under the steering wheel and look around for a rubber grommet and slice is CAREFULLY with a razor and feed your wire.
