Hi,

Ok sorry...about all the questions. Since my ST was involved in a collision the airbags went off. And in Colorado, you have to pass an inspection for your car to be allowed to drive on the roads. And the airbag module has to be reset to do that.

Does anybody know how to reset the airbag module?

I know a guy that does it but i was wondering if it is possible to do it by myself.

Thanks, George T.

There is an internal fuse inside the module that normally blows if the airbags deploy...

I assume the Air bag light is on and the airbags were replaced ????

The body shop should not have let you take the truck if there is a problem.

Take it to them to fix.....

Only other thing is disconnect the battery for 15 min..

You probably have a recorded crash event in the RCM (Restraint Control Module).

You will not turn off the light or pass an inspection till the code is cleared and the system passes a self test. You can't do any thing without a scan tool of some sort.

Ok thanks,

Todd, yeah the light is on and the airbags were replaced

I will get the module reset.

Thanks, George T.
