So I finally had some extra time to work on my truck...I knocked out the pinstripe after 8 years of sun with the eraser wheel. Just thought I would post this and hopefully help someone who is considering this. Disregard the fact that it is an Avalanche, I lurk here all the time, I am still a memberat heart! :B:

If anyone is considering the removal of their pinstripe, I would highly recommend the eraser wheel. It is messy but worth the filth. This took me roughly 10 minutes to knock out the whole truck and apply Goo Gone to get the reamining little sticky areas I missed with the wheel. As you can see in some of the final resulted pictures, the paint has faded under the tape slightly. I decided to wet sand the whole area around the truck where there was pinstripe and it blended it right through. Totally worth the effort and looks a hell of alot better. Any comments or questions welcomed.

If it was taped stripe. I have removed them with an industrial heat gun. Some hae been 10yrs old. If it was paint, different story.
