PIN pad number hiding place

Anyone have an idea were the PIN pad # is hidden on a 2007 explore Eddie Buaer



did not get the card with the SUV



We will contact the dealer but I thought you guys would know more than the dealer !! lol

Can not say for sure, but on our 2000 Explorer, it is located on the drivers side rear wheel well. You pull the jack access door and look towards the front of the vehicle.



If the dealer wants to charge you for the service, I can ask my dealer to find where to get the code for you.

There is no theft module in the 07 ???

The Wiki ANSWER MIGHT GIVE THE RIGHT INFORMATION....





2002 thru 2007 is in the right panel behind the middle row window. It is below the seat belt mechanism. You have to pull out the top plastic panel off, then loosen the lower panel to be able to see the face of the computer module. The code is on a sticker on the face of the module.





I will have to take a look tonight..

There is no sticker in the '07+. If you can get in touch with the selling dealer and prove that you own the truck, they'll usually just tell you. Otherwise, it has to be pulled from the computer.
