2007 ST 4X4 V8 Limited. Right front window will go down about 1 inch if engine is running,

you open drivers door , and your foot is on the brake. It will do this about 50% of the time

under the mentioned conditions. There is not any information from Ford or a serviice

bulletin. Any ideas???????????????:(

??? Are you saying it will do that on its own under those conditions? Or is that the only movement the window makes when you try to lower it?

If the answer is the first situation, I would suspect a wiring problem in the door where operating the door opening handle/linkage is shorting(?) the wiring harness to the window switches.

Well, then I think you have a short either in the door that is being acted upon by the door handle/linkage, or where the cable loom passes from the door to the body being acted upon by the door swinging open.
