Paint Question

ok so i have a two tone trac that is black with the grey on the bottom.This is probaly a stupid question but.. i want it to be all black and i know there are sport tracs that are all one solid color. Could i just paint over that plastic-y grey shit? or what. it doesnt look like itd be good to paint over but i have no idea. HELP

Yes it can be painted, Just has to be done properly...

Scuff the area to be painted do not cut thru to the plastic primer. Clean first to remove

any wax. Clean after scuff (scotch brite or fine wet or dry sandpaper) then paint.
