P0171 and P0174

I had noticed the truck running a little rougher and hesitating when accelerating from a stop, but I just attributed it to the hot weather and age of the truck. Well, last week I got a CEL and plugged in my handy code reader. When P0171 and P0174 showed up, I immediately went to the engine and saw the infamous hose crack. Ordered the part from our site sponsor and installed it today.



It was kind of a pain trying to pull off the hose, so I ended up just cutting the damn thing and it came off like magic. Thanks again for all the wisdom on this board!:haveabeer:

I just completed that repair too. Pretty common issue and easy fix with the directions from this site.
