options listing on a used vehicle

Is there anyway to get a complete listing of the options and/or equipment that a vehicle had from the factory.The window stickers don't always have eveything listed that isn't obvious such as traction control...etc. if the original factory sticker was not kept by the previous owner.

If you can get the model type (such as XLT or Limitted) you could research online what "package" the vehicle had...I'm not sure if you could research the VIN number.

In most cases, either on a sticker in the glove box or a sticker on the spare tire cover all the codes pertaining to that specific vehicle will be there. From axle codes to the paint code.
