Optima Blue Top

Hello ST'ers





I recall seeing someone on this board with a Blue Top Optima battery and I have some questions on it???? I know that is a Marine battery and it of course 12v but is it ok to put a Marine Battery in a Sport Trac. Second question, will it bolt right in my 04 Sport Trac, or will I have to mod the battery compartment :O)

I never had much success here in the south with die hard. I go with AZ gold. Most of them outlasted the warranty.



If I was to try an AGM battery. I might try the, AGM Die Hard Platinum P-2 Battery. Because of the shape, standard mounting.

I had the dual battery marine version, worked great and also great for adding accessories to it.

I like the look of the blue top but for the price I dont think its worth it, I may upgrade to the Diehard as well :O)
