Ok, you were right about the Monroe SensaTracs. They really are that much better than the stock shocks or Monroe-matics (stock shocks from Monroe). I just replaced my dead and leaking Monroe-matics with SensaTracs, and it's a seriously better shock.

It is stiffer, but it just comes across as more solid, not stiff. It even rides better because the response to a bump is so much more controlled. Cross winds aren't as much of a bother. The truck just feels more athletic, like it has new running shoes on.

:supercool:

Monroe-matics are actualy an oem shock. I call them floaters..:bwahaha:

I put sensatracs on my moms grand marquis. She was afraid it would be rough. She realy enjoys the control and ride. She said, it feels more secure on the hilly-curvey back roads in the country. She is 80 and wanted a soft ride. Dad had monroe-matics on it.
