no dashboard lights or mileage

well went out to my good ole trac this morning to find that i have no dashboard (instrument cluster) lights. no mileage or other lights. the chime bell rings when the door is open even without the key in the ignition. close the door and opn it again, still the chime bell goes on.

the chime bell thing has happend in the past but now no lights/digital readouts. :angry:

the trac has been sitting for the past week unused.

febuary couldn't come any quicker !



any thoughts?

Gary, you might have inadvertently turned off the interior lights switch. The mileage or odometer wont show either. Congrats on the Fiero also. Had one when it first came out, with a four banger. Fun driver.

Last time I had a cluster issue on my Escort, it turned out to be a grounding prob with the gnd wires that connected to the neg. terminal.
