New battery in remote

RE: Remote for keyless entry

Both of my remotes recently stopped working, so I tried changing the batteries. However, they still don't work. I also tried the procedure of turning the ignition on/off 8 times to program the remote, and that did not work either.



Any more suggestions? Do remote just "die" and need to be replaced?

That, Or some one tried to get in with the keyless entry on the door and it Locked it out....

The Module could have gone bad too...



ITS odd for BOTH to go bad. Unless the batteries were installed backwards or were bad.

Try reprogramming them and see what happens.



The procedure is quite simple. Turn key on then off 8 times, then press any key on each fob. Do a youtube search for video

There is something with the door being open and the brake pedal, Or some crazy combo..LOL

unlock driver's door with unlock button on door. then key on/off procedure. doesn't matter if door is open or not
