NEUTRAL TOW KIT

If any member needs a netural tow kit for a Explorer 06-10 or ST 07-10 I just made mine

for the total sum of 6.00. They are no longer available from Ford. Origional cost was

about 50.00. There is a company that is suppose to start making them for the inflated

price of 250.00. If any member wants information contact me. This is only for 4X4's.

How does the kit work? I have no need for one, but am curious.

It allows the ST to be pulled behind a vehicle(motorhome or pickup,etc). No drive shaft

disconnect. The ST must be a 4X4 (not a all wheel drive). The ECM has to be enabled

by a dealer for neutral tow function. You put your foot on the brake, put shifter in

neutral, turn ignition switch off, push 4X4 button and a light will flash for about 5 sec and you are ready to go.

The kit is a led lamp and a microswitch that indicates shifter is in neutral
