Okay, ladies and gentlemen! The Muth Signal Mirror group buy is officially posted!



Allow me to give you some background...



Okay, the mirrors y'all need should be pretty much obvious by the listings. The modules might be confusing. The H-Mod module is REQUIRED if you add heated mirrors to a vehicle that didn't come with heated mirrors from Ford. The Multifunction module is kinda cool, but is explained pretty well on the group buy page. The brake module is the fuzzy part. Thanks to Ford's "innovative" wiring, if you want the mirrors to illuminate along with the brakes as well as the blinkers, you don't need this module for the 02/2001 - present mirrors. If you have an '01 ST with a build date before 02/2001, you'll need this module to enable this feature. Obviously, on the later vehicles, this feature is optional, but does not require the module.



Furthermore, any of you that opt to buy the second gen mirrors, follow all of the instructions carefully, EXCEPT for the wiring instructions. The Muth directions are for Explorers and Mountaineers. The wiring in our trucks is different. I'll include supplemental wiring instructions for the second gen folks. The correct wiring instructions for the ST won't be included from Muth for another couple of months. (I just wrote them Friday.)



Now... On to shipping. Shipping will be $9 additional anywhere that a USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate box will go. Any Canadians, Polish, Brazilians, etc... Email me first for a shipping quote.

I've had these for 5 years and love them. Fairly easy to install, although it was a little scary to "pop-off" the original mirrors.

Popping off the original mirrors is easy...just hit a couple mailboxes that stick out too far in the road and they will come right off



If I had the money to spend, I would get a pair of these, they look high quality and like a good product

The pricing on the mirrors is the same as from Muth.

So as I see it, the group buy value would be only on the Modules and perhaps on shipping.

Is that correct?

On Muth's site, their price is $219 for non heated, and $269 for heated.

The group buy price is $179 for non heated and $219 for heated.



I think a $40 or $50 discount is a pretty good price.
