motor help

I just did a motor swap on a 04 GMC Yukon with a 5.3 I used a 03 Tahoe motor now I'm in reduced power mode any ideas how to fix it thanks

My wild guess, is. Some varience in main sensor voltages. Or signals to the ECU. From '03 to '04.

Im guessing you are using your ECU and harness.

Im not experianced with GM products as much.

i found the oil pressure switch plug was melted and not plugged in all the way so ima have to get a new one and see what happens im at the fire station allday today ill get to it tommarrow

i shouldnt have to flash the computer im guessing the new motor is from a 03 tahoe everything is the same
