Science has not presented one shred of evidence that Man is causing Global Warming or Climate Change. It's just a Theory and ONLY a Theory. All the existing scientific evidence that Al Gore claimed to be proof that man is causing the Global Warming have been shown to be false, including the fact that the polar ice caps have gotten bigger just in the last year and the CO2 levels have increased?



If you have any proof that man is causing climate change or global warming, please present it or you are just believing in Fairy Tales!

Every major news outlet last week ran the story (yes even Fox) about the CONSENSUS that scientists world wide assert that climate change is man/woman made. If you disagree you are just a rubber stamp republican. Deny the facts. Stay with the playbook. Ignore logic. Its what you do.



Sure there are things I dont agree with that are espoused by the left. But ....



Facts have a liberal bias.

Yes, many liberal Scientist say that Climate Change is caused by man/woman. Saying it and proving it are two different things. Most of these Scientists are getting a lot of government money in research grants to say that and to look for the proof, but they don't have that proof.



The problem liberal Democrats have is that they dream up these doom and gloom scenarios and run around like Chicken Little saying the sky is falling or the Earth is warming and then grab the first thing that sounds like the cause and that becomes their mantra.



If it not global warming or climate change, it's going to be the end of the world if the US Government shuts down on Tuesday? Yes, the Washington Democrats are saying that if the US government shuts down it will severely damage the economy of the entire world and that the world may not be able to recover from it? No facts, just another Chicken Little, doom and gloom scenario.

I can tell you a couple of things I have learned in my career protecting the resources of this nation. The earth is self cleaning. One major earthquake, eruption, or magnetic realignment will make every previous piece of research worthless.

You can't hurt the planet. Only the ability of people to live on it. Shut down every coal burning plant in the United States. When Yellowstone blows, everything east of there and north of fl will be concerned in ash. Your lakes will be dry. Frank, Redfish is right ! You are confusing pollution with Climate Change.



Nobody is suggesting that we just dump all the mercury, and toxic pollutants onto our lands and waterways....That will kill humans and wildlife, but it will not do much to harm the Earth.



Earth has survived for more than 4 billion years, and has gone through many dramatic climate changes, long before mankind ever existed.



Air pollution in and around or major cities is a bigger problem caused by man. Global warming is not caused by mankind. The increase in CO2 is caused by the warming of the oceans. The warming of the oceans is caused by hot spots under the oceans from the Earths molten center. That's what the weathermen are referring to when the speak about the El Nino. More than 70% of the CO2 in our atmosphere comes from the evaporation of the oceans. When the oceans warm, they release more CO2 into the atmosphere.



So to summarize, CO2 does not cause Global Warming, but Global Warming does cause an increase in the CO2 in the atmosphere. Most real scientist agree with this theory and completely explains Al Gore's theory of CO2 causing Global Warming. There is a link between CO2 and Global Warming, but Al Gore got it backwards and then tries to blame it on mankind.

Science has also proved that there were Ice Ages that came and went before so called "man-made global warming" We obiously warmed up and then cooled down again multiple times. So why is this current warm up anything else? I know you'll proabably say because its happening faster, but the lenght of Ice Ages and Warm ups were supposedly different lengths of time so some were faster than others. I do agree the earth will self clean and when CO2 concentration gets too large for earth, something will reverse it as it has before. Afterallt he dinosaurs and cows coudl've and can only fart so much!:bwahaha:

At best, the hype is selfish interest in our own species' survival. At worst, it's a money making scheme. One is naivety; the other is just evil.



We have dropped nuclear bombs on two cities and numerous testing sites. Is all existence of life now absent from those sites or did "life find a way" (to loosely quote the best sci-fi movie ever)? We shouldn't be so arrogant; we're not that influential as a species. And if you truly believe we are, then why do you continue to contribute to Earth's demise. Do you not care? You obviously own(ed) a gas guzzling truck if you're a member of this forum. Your computer isn't running off of unicorn farts. You're food is likely not harvested from your land, or even your state, probably not even this country. You're breathing. Suicide is the only way to end the guilt and slow the cycle. Any takers? The hypocrisy is astonishing to me. Just absolutely blows my mind...I can't even describe how hard it is to wrap my mind around how can someone talk about global warming, blame all of mankind but somehow exempt themselves from the solutions they propose?



I'll also put dollars to dimes that I do more for land conservation in a years time than most self professed tree huggers will do in ten but it's not because I'm afraid the Earth is going to melt. I've spent the last two months improving wildlife forage on our property; I drive less than 100 miles/week; I compost; I use as little plastic as possible; I choose local foods when convenient; I grow some of my own food and I harvest nearly all red meat we eat; I could go on... I don't need self righteous hypocritical Internet experts to tell me how to live my life. I certainly don't need it coming down from people flying private jets, living in mansions and capitalizing on their doom and gloom theories.



Right now, I'm sitting on my porch drinking sweet tea while watching deer and birds eat from the results of my hard labor and it's a beautiful 73* in south Georgia as the sun is setting. It hardly looks like the end of the world to me from my front porch looking out but if it is, I'm enjoying every moment.
