Thanks everybody for all of the help and suggestions. After removing the trim around the signal switch, it became obvious that the lock on the top of the main harness plug was broken allowing the plug to dislodge from the switch. I didn't have a new plug and harness quickly available and there is no room for a "zip-tie" to secure it so I super glued the tab back in place as well as to the female plug adapter. That should hold until I can obtain the new part. Everything is again functioning as it should so.....again, thank you all.
