Key reader in column needs changing

I have a 01 and without warning it will not crank with the key. I can jump it across the relay and all other systems work. Is there a key reader in the column that can be changed?

possibly the chip in the key? Do you have another key to try?

There is a loop reader in the Colum that goes to a theft module.

Could be an ignition switch. Truck will turn over with a key from hardware store but will not start without chip.
