K&N dropin

A few minutes ago I removed my K&N dropin airfilter from my 05 and replaced it with a paper filter. If anyone wants the K&N I took out, let me know. I ran it for ~15K miles. It's showing dirt and I don't feel like cleaning or re-oiling it. When I first installed it, I thought I may have realized a difference but not enough to do the clean / reoil process.



So...If anyone wants it, just pay shipping cost and it's yours. I Figure it will be ~ $5 to ship it. Call it $6 if by Paypal.



BTW, it won't come with the gasket cause I don't think I can get the damned thing off in one piece.



If not, it will be in wednesdays trash...

You dont have to service a K&N but @ 50K to 60K miles. Only sooner if you lived in dust. Such as the desert. Dont wory about it looking dirty.

As for the gasket, you can use that super thin window weather stripping from home depot..
