If anyone has a stock air intake, I would like to buy it. I'm tired of having my check engine light come on saying I have 2 sensors running lean. It's causing all kinds of weird idle stuff and my engine dying when i'm at a light and nonsense. It's just not worth the hassle anymore. It's weird because it just started doing this a few months ago, and the air intake has been on for a couple years. Anyways, help if you can. Thanks!

Jeff, sounds to me that it's not your Air Intake. For the "lean" condition you need to check for the "Cracked Elbow". This will also make it run rough. Being that you have had the intake on there for a few years and it just started doing this, it's not your intake. Just do a general search for "cracked elbow". you will find the simple easy fix.

I agree with stonemiser about the cracked elbow Jeff. It's an extemely easy and cheap fix. $30 form the dealer is what I paid for mine and it only takes maybe 2 minutes at most to replace it.

Yep, not the air intake. You have a intake leak after the maf sensor. Most likly the elbow.

Thanks guys! After closer inspection and reading a post on here, I found the elbow that had a major crack right in the top of it. I got an $8 piece from an auto parts place that fit it with some trimming, and it's running fine for the time being. I'm gonna take my battery off and see if the check engine will go away now. This is an awesome site! Thanks!
