Recently installed the Flex shift knob using the steps shown in the YouTube video by Jeg's Garage. If you follow his advice and take your time it's reasonably easy to do. Sorry for the picture misorientation - I'll attempt to fix.[Broken External Image]:
 
Yes, fully functional as the original. You have to position the new knob seated correctly on the shaft before drilling the holes for the set screws. The saying "Measure twice, cut once" applies. Took me two tries but all's well now. Knob cost me about $20, with a few more for correct drill bit and tap.
 
Looks, great, Vic! In my opinion, this is one of the best mods that can be done for a Gen 2 Trac, especially for the cheap price!:supercool:

Kinda hoping someone else pulls the trigger first on that one Todd. I think next weekend I'm gonna tackle this project and my functional fender vents if I have the time.
