It's at least an 89 & a car motor but that's all you can tell from that. The date code will be stamped into the block, a 4 digit number, i.e. 3B20F.3B20 = February (B) 20, 1973 (3). The F is the assembly plant code.
Gavin, I had a 351C in my 72 Mustang. Built the top end, blew out the bottom, so rebuilt it too... and man did it HAUL! Changed out the rusty cragars with keysone classics...
351c 2v heads on a windsor block will mod I think. 600cfm carb. breaths real good. Turn some big rpms. Been so long I cant remember the details. Might be the Aussie heads.
LaRue, my best friend in high school had a '73 Mustang, same color except his was a "Grande" edition with a tan vinyl roof. Loved that car- wish I had it today! :banana:
