2001-2005 - I know about 8

2007-2010 - V8 I know of 3

2007-2010 - V6 I know of 1

It depends on your wallet, Age of the truck and your expectations when done......

Bolting it on a stock 4.0 is like 75 HP...... Not like 200 as a modified V8....

If the motor has miles on it, its not worth it IMHO.....

But if you have money and want the thrill then go for it !!

The ST is a heavy truck 4300-4800 + so its not a mustang...

Why do people add SC to the 6 cylinder. I would think if you are chasing power you would not want to start at the lowest point.

question: when a factory spec says 290 hp ( I forget exactly what the 4.6) is that the engine or the wheels?

What would a super charger add to the 4.6?

Budget for the build and after, and personal desires and expectations. If you have a V6, you'd either have to put in a replacement V8 and trans or get a different vehicle that have them - both more expensive than just the SC.

2. Brake horsepower (BHP) - the engine, before the drive train.

3. Don't know. Probably 20 to 30%.

Todd,

Thank you for the info. :haveabeer:

Not worth it for my old 02 -- About to break 190k miles.

Of course I want the thrill, but don't want the wallet to shrivel up
