27 to point out spelling/grammar errors in posts about changing light bulbs

53 to flame the spell checkers

41 to correct spelling/grammar flames

6 to argue over whether it's "light bulb" or "light bub" ...

another6 to condemn those 6 as anal-retentive

2 industry professionals to inform the group that the proper term is"lamp"

15 know-it-all's who claim *they* were in the industry, and that "light bulb" is perfectly correct

33 to link all posts to date, quote them in their entirety including all headers and signatures, and add "Me too"

12 to post to the group that they will no longer post because they cannot handle the light bulb controversy

19 to quote the "Me too's" to say "Me three"

44 to ask what is a "FAQ"

4 to say "didn't we go through this already a short time ago?"

143 to say "do a Google search on light bulbs before posting questions about light bulbs"

1 forum lurker to respond to the original post 6 months from now and start it all over again.

1 to state that a light bulb does not emit light, it sucks dark. After it is full, it stays dark. Have a nice day.

I think I might side with the one who clearly was right with the statement that "Light bulbs suck up darkness, and when they are full the remain dark"....I always say that people need to think more outside the box, and that's about as far outside the box is you can get :bwahaha::bwahaha: :bwahaha:

You could have just said 1,362, I would have believed you.

There's no evidence that these are all separate individual members. Maybe some of them had multiple statements filling multiple categories.

:bwahaha:

What if it's fluorescent? How many members will it take to dispose of it properly? How many members will get mercury poisoning if it breaks?

:banghead:

AND 1 PERSON TO CLAIM THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A LIGHT BULB BUT THEY DO MAKE A DARK SUCKER THAT DOES EXACTLY WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT. REMOVING THE DARK FROM A ROOM AND LEAVING ONLY LIGHT BEHIND :bwahaha:

+1 JD !!

What if it's fluorescent? How many members will it take to dispose of it properly? How many members will get mercury poisoning if it breaks?

And how many posters to complain about the Federal Government's push to eliminate incandescent bulbs? And how many posters to complain about those complainers being non-"green"? And how many posters to turn that conversation into a political mud-slinging competition?

:bwahaha:
