Horn sounds like a HONDA

Hey guys......does anyone know why my horn would go from normal to sounding like a fricken Honda civic!!:sad: I had to use the horn today and it sounded fine for all of 2 seconds then it went to something that sounded like a honda civic. I was like WTF who else is honking at me!! Then I realized it was my horn Any ideas? I was thinking a loose wire or something but I never move the steering wheel so I doubt the wire would be broken from moving it. Could a wire have fallen off from the horn side? I didn't get a chance to look at it today and I'm heading away for my anniversary this weekend. I NEED to get this fixed asap...it's embarrassing damn it!! Hmmm air horns could be an option now though :grin:

Under the tool tray if you have one, OR in front of the radiator is the horn pack....



Sounds like the low horn is shot..... Tap it and see if it starts working, or check the connections..

The last time I used my horn was a couple summers ago when I bumped the button while working on the dashboard.

Could be worse, could be a fart sounding like Honda...

This guy went to the doctor and said to him Doctor.I dont know

whats wrong with me, but every time I fart, it sounds like the word

HONDA.



Thats interesting, never heard of anything like that before. Do you

think you could fart for me? says the doctor. The guy says Sure.

And sure enough, the doctor hears HONDA.



After several attempts to figure out whats wrong with this guy, the

doctor runs out of ideas. He sends him to all sorts of stomach

specialists and none of them can figure out why this guys farts say

HONDA. It is a completely out of this world medical condition.



Finally, as a last resort, the doctors think they should send the man

to a dentist.



After explaining the problem to the dentist, the dentist opened up

the guys mouth and examining it.



The dentist says A-haa!!!!.I have solved the problem.



The patient says What is it? What is it. Please tell me doc..The

dentist replies Well, sir, you have an abscess tooth.



The guy says Yeah.so.What has that got to do with my farts?



The dentist replies, Cant you see??.. Abscess Makes The Fart Go HONDA

Sounds like its time to wire up some new horns. I put a set of 120 decibel Hella horns in and they're great, fairly simple project, and you can get them for around 60 bucks. I live on Long Island and alot of people spend their time driving with their head up their arse(cell phones) and a good loud horn(when used with discretion) comes in very handy.

I'll pop the hood today and give it a tap to see if that's the case. I'm heading to NY City end of May/June so I may just pick up a set of air horns on my travels. I could get a set from here for $60 but they are pretty cheap sounding.

They make people really mad when I zap them.
