high idle

Hi I own a 2009 STA. When driving all is good. when PARK is selected engine revs up to 3000 rpm play with throdle peddle a lil and seems to be ok. does it in neutral as well. any ideas what this could be? Steve

Unmetered air leak in a vacuume hose or intake manifold

Check your throttle body for build up. Might be making the blade sticking.

Or it is failure in the control system. The second gen trac, is electric throttle body.

I had that and lubricated the linkage/ ok now
