Greasable fittings on my 01 ST

I'm not sure if your 01 would be much different from my 04.

For the most part Ford has used non-greasable front end parts since the 90s.

If you have replaced your ball joints or tie ride ends with aftermarket parts you could start looking there. My 04 is still mostly running factory parts and has zero grease fittings.

Ever since the invention of synthetic molylubes. Grease fittings are a thing of the past, on OEM.

The claim is greased for life. May it be 20K or 100k....LOL



I use a grease needle to punture the boot seal. I have a pnuematic grease gun. Makes it easy to push grease thru the needle. Hard to do with a hand lever gun.

Car dealerships make their money from parts and service departments, not sales.

Is it just a coincidence those sealed parts usually fail right after the warranty? :angry:
