We all have our power back,
I ended up draining tank , dissassembled the carb, cleaned and reinstalled, pulled plug and inspected, it was clean and gapped correctly, changed oil and filter, oil seemed to have lost some of its viscosity, but OK., checked valve tappet clearence, slight adjustment, not out of spec. Started it and it did the same thing.
It ended up being the oil pressure sending sensor. It was leaking everso slightly but just enough to intermittantly tell the motor to shut down when the oil was hot enough to leak out of the sensor. Installed new sensor and it works like new.
