Gen 2 rear sub amp took a shower !!!

Soo the Adren sub starts crackling and making horrible noises yesterday.

Took it apart and water POURED out of the amp....



Its all dry now and sitting in a zip lock bag with dry rice. A great trick to dry out electronics, especially cell phones !!!



I built a little house to cover the top of the amp and I am now looking for the water source !!! I bet its the third brake light !!!!

Really? Ford still hasn't figured out how to seal the fricken third brake light! I sealed the one on my 1997 Ranger, 2001 Ranger, and of coarse my ST.

First repair I did on my '07 was the 3rd brake light....terrible leak! Stopped it with a great amount of silicon. My '03 and '04 never did leak.....:grin:

All dried out, re installed, Siliconed the third brake light and so far so good..... Dam ford brake lights....LOL
