Hey everyone, i was wondering if anyone else has the same problem as me? i have having a problem with the little line not lining up with the proper gear selected.

my dash

park= park

reverse = reverse

neutral is close to drive

drive is more closer to 2

and 2 is closer to 1

1 is away from 1

is there any adjustment i can make to fix it?

Yeah, there is an adjuster knob below the steering wheel, behind the plastic and metal knee covers. Exactly where, IDK. I just saw it the other day in that area for my dad's 95 Explorer.

Ya its a cable adjuster. Its on the underside of the steering column near the gear selector. you just remove the two screws that hold the two pieces of plastic covering the steering column. Its a short black cable with a round black plastic adjuster like you would find on a bicycle or lawn mower to adjust cable tension. I will try to post a pic later.
