Funny...but also sad

My friend's daughter works for a defense contractor here in Virginia. While the daughter was on vacation, a co-worker sent her this story in an email:



The company hired a summer intern who was a high school grad planning to attend college this fall. One of the bosses gave her ( the intern) a CD and told her to make 4 copies. The intern proceeds to the Xerox machine and makes 4 paper copies!!!

I teach a specialized Radiology software system and the people they send me are supposed to be experienced computer users, preferably system admins. On the first day of training, I provide everyone with a USB drive to copy files onto. Many times I get a blank stare like I just handed them a moon rock. That's when I know my week will be difficult.



I have to wonder how these people got their jobs in the first place.
