Flat tow 2010 AWD Limited.

I tried doing a flat tow set up on my 2010 4.6 AWD LIMITED. I wired it and flashed it. The light will flash as it should. The shift motor never moves to neutral . I have been told only the 4X4 will work with the tow kit? As only done a set up that works with the AWD LIMITED?

I believe you have to convert the AWD ( BS) to the 4x4 first, then you can do the flat tow....
I just remove the rear driveshaft when i tow mine to the car show.

Hello Todd, thanks for the feedback. I was hoping for a quick simple work around. Two years back a broke my block after going in deep water off road. I didn't want to lay in water and mud to remove the driveshaft.

Not that I am planning on repeating history. Just hoping for a easier choice.
