first maitenance (2600 miles)

yesterday take a ST to delear,



i paid 75 usd for complete service for 5,000km

The complete service include: change oil filter, oil, refil all fluids (break, freze/coolant, water for clean the front window) and they put inyectors cleaner.



and they no charge for repair rear tire, becouse ones have screw, and the other only scape air.



i ask for the price (only to know) to repair tire and he toldme: 38 usd for both.

I would change the oil at 5000miles not 2600. It is a waste of money. Those are some high prices. I didnt know prices could be that high in Mexico.

My first service at 5000 mile was also Free from North Central Ford which is where I purchased my Trac. I would agree that 2600 miles is probably too soon even for the 1st service, but it's whatever makes you feel good.

do you recommend, follow the service manual?

it says every 10,000 km ( 3940 miles) aprox.



my last mini van Chevrolet Venture, always change oil and oil filter every 2600 miles.

I follow the owner's manual for normal driving: change oil every 5000 miles!
