finally fixed the p0171-p0174 problem.. seems that the felpro intake gaskets that i installed were leaking. went to to ford ,got the factory gaskets and installed them. no codes. runs great. noticed that the felpro gaskets were not as thick as factory gaskets. :smile0006::smile0015:

Good deal and good to know. Odd thing is felpro has always been my choice of gaskets. Of course this is the first ford I have, with O-ring type gaskets.

I agree, Felpro is generally pretty good.



Could have been defective or it could have been an install error. In either case, same end result.



Glad it is solved, those kind of things are a real hassle to deal with...

I am having a hard time understanding why you replaced the intake gaskets on you Trac in the first place. Your profile says you have a 2001 Job 2. They never had issues with manifold gaskets like the Job 1 did.



Please elaborate.
