factory ford fog lights

Anybody install a factory ford foglights in there ST?



I bought some ford fog lights and switch from eBay and need to know if the wiring and relay are there already in my ST since it did not come with factory fog lights.

No, you do not have the plugs, switch relay or wire...



You have to run your own stuff...



Paul H added factory lights with some 9005 connectors and a $10.00 relay.



They turn on with his running lights...

Todd, There used to be an OEM kit from Ford so you could add the fog lights after the fact. See if PN 601-7607 is still available. Here's the link to Mike Egan's Project (link does not work in Members- Projects).

yes roger you are right but 130 bucks from ford plus lights or about 30 bucks and the same time running the wire. plus they now turn on with my headlights and stay on with my brights where as the factory installed has a button inside to turn them on and off much easier todds and my way...just my opinion.

thanks guys, I can try a quick run to the junkyard and see if there any ford explorer/trucks I can find.

If not I will use Todd's suggestion, I just wanted a clean factory look.

Hey guys, I found an OEM switch for the fog lights behind the dash below the controller for the rear window. It has the wiring harness connected to it. Where does the wiring harness come out on the other side, and will it work with the Ford factory fog light kit????

So we determined that the wiring harness is not wired to the distribution box



But can we still use this switch for the lights????
