Error code P0171 - the dreaded cracked hose

I have 94000 miles on my 01 Sport Trac and the dreaded Check Engine light is now on with a code of P0171 - Lean bank 1. Checked the small vacuum hose it is cracked. When I replace the hose, will the light go off or will I need to reset this? If I need to reset, how do I do this?

The light will go out after 3 driving cycles, Could take up to a week depending how much you drive..



BUT you could just disconnect the NEG terminal on the battery, Change the hose, and then re connect the battery, That will reset the light also...

Do you know the part number for the hose? None of the local Auto supp;y stores had a similar hose.
