i recently traded in my 07 (leased) sport trac and purchased a new 08 trac.recently the check engine came on (319 miles) brought it back they said it was fuel cap. ok was fixed i thought.

came on again now there saying might need updated codes as they come out. they did a vapor check and that passed. has anyone else had this problem with there 08 trac's.

I cant help but it sounds like BS. They arent looking hard enough or need to run the vapor check again. What new codes??

Might be worth taking it to Autozone for a free computer check to see if Ford is telling you the same thing that the code reads.
