Got the EGR code on a 2008 with 91000 miles 4.0 v6 I can clear the code and it will come back after a couple of days what should I change first or look at. Thanks for any help.:banana:

On top of EGR valve is flow sensor..... needs to be replaced.

Yep, Todd is probably correct. The DPFE (Differential Pressure Flow EGR) sensor is probably bad. It's a sensor that measures the pressure in the EGR tube (Exhaust Gas Recycling). This sensor determines if your EGR valve is sending too much or too little Exhaust gas back into the intake system. It sounds a little strange, but injecting some exhaust gas into the intake helps cool the combustion by introducing an inert gas (exhaust gas) into the intake air stream which does not contribute any energy to the combustion process.
