Yep, Todd is probably correct. The DPFE (Differential Pressure Flow EGR) sensor is probably bad. It's a sensor that measures the pressure in the EGR tube (Exhaust Gas Recycling). This sensor determines if your EGR valve is sending too much or too little Exhaust gas back into the intake system. It sounds a little strange, but injecting some exhaust gas into the intake helps cool the combustion by introducing an inert gas (exhaust gas) into the intake air stream which does not contribute any energy to the combustion process.
