Drove 6,545 miles

I'm back from my trip across country and back. Drove 6,545 miles with no problem whatsoever with the sport trac. $1,152 for gas. Thanks to all for all the maintenance preparation tips. Now have 118,000 miles on it.

Damn, quick math says you got 20.4 mpg. How I wish I could get that but I live in the mountains, in a major city and my Trac isn't anywhere near stock.

About 20 MPG is what I get average, but crossing the vast flats of Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas I was getting over 25 MPG. I used cruise all of the time. Speed limits of 80 and very little traffic. I cruised at about 70. Other places just stayed at the speed limit in no hurry.
