And the hits just keep on coming.



The side plastic trim piece on the passenger side door fell off. No damage to the piece or the door, though. It looks like the adhesive simply deteriorated from age. What type of adhesive should I use to replace it? It almost looks like a sticky rubber/foam thing that goes around the edge of it.

Which 3M product, specifically? I'll pick some up this weekend.

Various 3M double sided tape is advertsied as as "molding tape" or "Automotive Attachment Tape" and come if various thickness.



Just make sure you clean the area the tape is going to make contact well (make sure no wax, dirt etc...) and stick away. I've used the 3M- 03609 which is suppose to be one of their "super strong/strong bonding" tapes. It came in a 1/2" thickness and I've used it on the ST and Vette with no problems.
