So my front door locks are not working. The switch is working and I hear the motors engage however the posts don't move. The rear locks work fine. I did hose out my interior a couple months ago so electric comes to mind. Anybody have ideas?

Cell phone post?? ;)

If you hear the parts moving, I doubt it's electrical.

It is odd that both front door locks have this problem at the same time. Is it possible that the passenger side has had this problem, but you didn't notice until the driver side failed?

Anyway, check that the actuators are mounted. Not what I'd call a common problem, but there have been a fair amount of rivets break. This allows the solenoid to move instead of moving the rod.

Dang!

I'm going to look REAL hard for the silver lining on this - doing both now saves you from having to through this again.

That's funny I think. BOTH my Front doors have the same problem, but my rear doors work fine. I noticed the drivers door first, then the passenger door. I just ignored it :) Right now my '02 is at the mechanic wondering why the oil pressure suddenly quit (Gawd I hope its the oil pump drive gear / syncroniser and not something more!). If I do get it back, I'll check in to the rivets holding the solenoids...
