I came across a bulletin not too long ago about the front end differential. The vent tube on some is too short and when the fluid gets hot, it spews the fluid out onto the front end making you think you have a leak. The diff cover needs to be replaced and the vent re-routed. If you still have warranty left on your vehicle, have it checked out. If you don't, now you know where the fluid may be coming from. FYI the cover on the diff is titanium.

Are you sure that the diff covers are titanium? That material is awfully expensive and isn't really needed in that application. I believe the covers are steel but I may be wrong.

what, what, what..........

The rear diff cover is steel..... At least mine is... 03 st..

The front covor looks the be aluminum, not titanium. The rear cover is steel, not plastic.
